Namaste, Clay & Play!

Kids Yoga Camp | Ages 4–10
July 14-17 | 1:00–4:00 PM

“Namaste” means the light in me honors the light in you—and that’s the heart of this joyful and creative summer camp! Through yoga, sensory play, and hands-on clay art, children will explore how to express their inner calm, strength, and creativity.

Each day includes movement, mindfulness, and themed sensory experiences designed to support emotional expression, confidence, and imagination—all in a fun, supportive environment.

Held in our beautiful downtown Roanoke studio and led by our Certified Children's Yoga Instructor, Sarah Kaminsky.

Daily Schedule | Monday-Thursday 1-4pm

1:00 – 1:15 PM – Arrival & Mindful Coloring
(Zentangle designs, mandalas, or creative doodles to help children settle in)

1:15 – 1:30 PM – Welcome Circle & Breathwork
(Introductions, intentions, and calming breath games)

1:30 – 2:00 PM – Yoga Games, Songs & Movement
(Fun, engaging activities like Clay Freeze Dance or Yoga Song)

2:00 – 2:30 PM – Clay/Sensory Creation Activity #1
(Nature Clay Sculptures, Salt Dough Art, etc.)

2:30 – 2:45 PM – Snack & Rest Time
(Kids bring their own nut-free snack; we’ll have soft music and calm lighting)

2:45 – 3:15 PM – Yoga Adventure Flow
(A themed movement journey—think “Earth to Sky” or “Jungle Explorers”)

3:15 – 3:45 PM – Clay/Sensory Creation Activity #2
(Projects like Worry Stones, Breath Beads, or Texture Collage)

3:45 – 4:00 PM – Guided Savasana & Closing Circle
(Quiet rest followed by sharing and a calm send-off)

Camp Details + Cost:

  • Camp is Monday, July 14th - Thursday, July 17th | 1pm-4pm

  • Open to children ages 4–10

  • Our youngest campers must be toilet independent

  • Curriculum is flexible and adapted to suit the age group attending

  • Please bring a water bottle and nut-free snack

Sarah Kaminsky is an E-RYT 200, Certified Children’s Yoga Instructor, and Certified Yin Yoga Instructor, with additional certifications in yoga for infants, toddlers, teens, and children with a variety of abilities and needs. She is passionate about bringing mindful movement and yoga to children across the metroplex, serving youth of all backgrounds and abilities.

In addition to her yoga teaching, she holds a BFA in Ceramics from the University of Texas at Arlington and works as both a pottery instructor and local artist, weaving her love of clay into the classroom as a rich sensory experience for children.

Driven by a deep passion for helping kids build emotional resilience, body awareness, and self-confidence, her classes are playful, grounding, and inclusive. Children are given the tools to regulate emotions, find calm, and carry those practices into their daily lives. For Sarah, teaching kids yoga is more than just movement—it’s about empowering the next generation to feel seen, supported, and strong in themselves.
